Principal In Charge and Project Designer for:
Consulting Architect for The Orcutt/Winslow Partnership. Services including Marketing, Programming, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Cost Estimating and Construction Administration for approximately $105,000,000 of construction projects. June 2000 - Present
Nimbus Downtown Tucson: A large urban project on the north edge of Downtown Tucson. This project develops a 2.8 acre site into the 22,000 SF Brewery and Restaurant, 10,000 SF of Retail and a 70+ Unit, 10 story Condominium Tower, all supported by a 2 story Underground Parking Garage. RNA provided Site Analysis, Preliminary Design and Rendering Services for Nimbus, a long-time client of RNA. (Refer to Home Page for Schematic Sketch)

Principal in Charge and Project Designer for:
Sun Tran Security Project Parts 1 and 2, $1,400,000: 2,200 SF administrative addition, security upgrading including access control and interior and exterior cameras. 2001
Prototype Sun Tran/Tucson Bus Shelter and all subsequent shelters, totaling approximately 600 shelters.
1979 - 2000
City of Tucson Department of Transportation Bus Shelter Focus Group Study; provided historical overview of recent bus shelter designs and construction; participated in three focus groups; will provide wrap-up study with recommendations for inclusion in new RFP for next generation of shelters. 1999
Modifications to Safford Magnet Junior High School, including restoration and re-hanging of 5 Tiffany stained glass chandeliers in the Auditorium. This is an H.O. Jaastad National Register Landmark building. Also Project M.O.R.E., Facilities Improvement Plan (F.I.P.) for Safford Refocus Project and design of 5 Phase, $7.5 million implementation of the F.I.P. over 5 years. 1996
Repair Water Feature at McClelland Hall, University of Arizona, a project of remedial waterproofing and redesigning the pumping system for the Samuel O. Witt Courtyard Fountain at McClelland Hall.
Remodeling of Room 431, Psychology Building, University of Arizona, which involved the dismantling of an anechoic chamber original to the building, requiring restructuring the floor, while allowing continuous occupation of spaces below.
Prevailing Expert Witness Testimony in two legal actions. One was a tripping hazard on a concrete sidewalk, the other was construction work continuation and quality issues following rejection by a municipal inspector. 1989/1996
University Heights Apartments, a 99 Unit development including 19 units as Adaptive Reuse of an H.O. Jaastad National Register of Historic Places school building.
YWCA of Tucson, Inc. Architectural Program and 20 Year Master Plan identified $2,900,000 of new construction and remodeling of this H.O. Jaastad National Register building in the West University neighborhood for which he wrote the Nomination Form.
Janos Restaurant in the Tucson Museum of Art Complex, Adaptive Reuse of the Fish-Stevens House, oldest house in Tucson and a National Register of Historic Places landmark. Janos is rated 4 Stars by Mobil's Travel Guide.
33 unit Apartment Project developed in northwest Tucson.
30,000 SF of Tenant Improvements at 97 East Congress for Senator Dennis DeConcini, Arizona Department of Economic Security, and Federal Public Defender.
Adaptive Reuse of 291 - 295 North Meyer Avenue, a 4,500 SF National Register Historic Building.
Tucson Mall: 3 Retail Tenant Improvement Projects, and Project Designer on 2 Retail Tenant Improvement Projects.
Consultant to the National Trust for Public Land on the Temporary Stabilization of the Pascal Adobe Historico.
Alterations and additions to the Joffroy Customs Brokerage in Nogales, Arizona. Addition was 3,808 SF with state-of-the-art raised-floor computer room.
Brady Court Feasibility Study and 14th parking Study.
Conversion of South Hall to a Tri-Service R.O.T.C. Facility at the University of Arizona. Adaptive Reuse with a Program Phase Report to coordinate needs of Army, Navy and Air Force Services into an historic dormitory building. $500,000 of Construction completed in 1987.
Renovation and additions to the Offices and Thriftique Store for the Assistance League of Tucson, Inc. totaling 16,100 enclosed SF.
